Caramel Tres Leches Cake


– 1½ cups (187.5 g) all-purpose flour – 2¼ teaspoons (2.25 teaspoons) baking powder – ¾ teaspoon (0.75 teaspoon) salt – 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature – 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar – 1½ teaspoons (1.5 teaspoons) vanilla extract – 5 egg

First, preheat your oven to 325 degrees F and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Use an electric mixer to beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Then, add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until everything is combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely in the pan.

Once the cake has soaked, take it out of the pan and put it on a plate.
