1/2 cup butter ▢4 cup mini marshmallows ▢1 teaspoon green food coloring ▢1/2 teaspoon almond extract ▢1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢4 cup cornflakes cereal ▢1 (2.25 oz) package cinnamon red hot candies
Prepare and set aside a sheet of lubricated wax paper.
Combine the butter and marshmallows in a microwave-safe dish. Cook in the microwave for two minutes. Continue stirring and heating for an additional 2 minutes.
Rapidly incorporate the green coloring and extracts. After stirring, incorporate the cornflakes. Stir until coated uniformly.
Place clusters of the mixture that you have scooped from the spoon onto the wax paper. Grease your fingers gently and create a wreath shape by creating a hole in the center of each cluster. Incorporate a number of red hots into the wreath that has just been formed.
A storage container should be lightly greased. Before transferring to the container, permit the treats to harden and chill. Produces 8 to 10 wreaths
