2 cups all-purpose flour ▢3/4 cup sugar ▢1 tbsp baking powder ▢1 tsp cinnamon ▢1/2 tsp ground nutmeg ▢1/4 tsp salt ▢1 cup mashed cooked pumpkin ▢1/2 cup butter melted ▢2 eggs
Prepare baking containers to line a muffin tin. Set aside.
In order to make spread, combine each of the ingredients. Beat until a creamy consistency is achieved. Refrigerate while covered, prior to serving.
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a basin; reserve.
Combine the pumpkin, melted butter, and eggs in a separate basin. Combine the two mixtures until just combined.
Coat muffin cavities with batter using a spoon. Twenty-two to twenty-three minutes at 400 degrees is sufficient.
Combine the half-cup sugar and half-teaspoon cinnamon in a basin. Prior to dipping the heated muffin tops in the sugar-cinnamon mixture, coat them in melted butter. Spread with cream cheese and serve heated.
