3 cups all purpose flour ▢1 1/2 cups sugar ▢1 tsp baking powder ▢1/4 tsp salt ▢1 cup unsalted butter chilled and cut into chunks ▢1 large egg ▢30 oz peaches drained and cut up ▢4 tsp cornstarch


Step - 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  

In a medium basin, combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Toss the flour mixture with the butter. Incorporate the butter with a pastry cutter or spatula to produce a crumbly consistency.  

Step - 2

Combine the cornstarch and the remaining half-cup sugar in a separate basin. Mix the sliced apricots into the mixture gently. Peaches are spooned over the pressed pastry.  

Step - 3

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 375 degrees. The crown ought to be marginally brown in color.

Allow to settle prior to slicing into squares.
