1 pound ground beef ▢1 onion diced ▢4 cloves minced garlic ▢24 ounces marinara sauce ▢2 cups beef broth ▢6 ounces farfalle noodles about 2 cups ▢1 cup mozzarella cheese ▢3/4 cup ricotta cheese
Sweat the beef, garlic, and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is browned.
After removing the rendered fat, combine the noodles, beef broth, and marinara sauce.
Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the noodles are al dente. Bring to a boil.
After incorporating half of the mozzarella cheese, garnish the mixture with ricotta.
Cover, sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella, and bake for two to four minutes, or until the cheese has melted. Serve without delay.
