Te de Canela (Cinnamon Tea)

Ingredients: – 2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon) – 2 cups of water – Honey or sweetener to taste (optional) – Lemon slices (optional)

Prepare the Cinnamon: – If you're using cinnamon sticks, break them into smaller pieces to release more flavor. If using ground cinnamon, measure out the required amount.

1. Boil the Water:Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot. 2. Add Cinnamon:Once the water is boiling, add the cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon to the pot.

Steep: – Reduce the heat to low and let the cinnamon steep in the hot water for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the water.

Strain: – After steeping, strain the tea to remove the cinnamon pieces. If you used ground cinnamon, you can use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

Sweeten (Optional): – Add honey or your preferred sweetener to the tea if you'd like to enhance the sweetness. Stir well to dissolve the sweetener.
